This is a news update we made originally to show people that we were in the process of collecting zip codes and plotting those zip codes in google earth to find out where we should screen our film. But we'll leave the video up because it shows a new way we might start seeing films. Our hope is that soon any film that has ever been created will be available to any movie theater with a digital projector and an internet connection. The concept is basically juke box programming based on social curating. So if enough people want to see a movie, doesn't matter how small or old the movie is, it might only take 20 people to get it shown for one slot in the smallest room at the your local movie theater. This will open up all kinds of possiblities for film festivals, special series, groups of friends that all have a similar taste and in general will make the movie theater a much more useful place. Even some soccer kids could all watch their final game on the big screen if each individual RSVPs/Requests or whatever.
So the system ended up working, check out our Thursdays in September video to see how it worked out for our film FOur Eyed Monsters. And please, spread the word about this concept and lets get it working for every film.

You guys have an edge over other amatures movie makers. That edge is creativity, and talent. The presentation, drama, and the tension that builds upon each episode is very captivating, inevitably focing me to watch the following episode.

These guys are doing something really new, and really fresh. Everybody should request a screening of their film in their town.
