You forgot Multiwinia is also going to be available for Linux in the near future. Other than that, not a bad review. :)
As for the crates being unbalanced, there is the option to use "basic crates" only, which seems to satisfy people with this complaint. When this is enabled, you only get powerups that featured in the original Darwinia.

never was a fan of this 'winia series though I like the bold graphical statement.
Golden Pearl looks interesting but I wish you guys would link to all the games in the description as well as having them in the video. makes life easier

Hey, rorkimaru - download links and game details can all be found on our site. Youtube has a tendency to flip out if we try to link to anything that ISN'T on Youtube.

Don't mean to sound like I'm arguing but SxePhil and others link sources and personal stuff all the time. I think YT only don't like ad links
