  • I did my own makeup for my wedding, 9 years ago...I wasn't chancing it to someone else! lol Turned out just fine... :D

  • Ooh!! I highly recommend u try NARS loose powder as a setting powder bc it kept me matte all day and I'm usually really oily without it.

  • I had the same thing happen last June for my wedding. I like how the girl did my hair but not so much my make up. I ended telling her I wanted to do my own make up just bc I was so use to a routine n wanted my husband to see me a lil more how I look everyday but I would still love her to do my hair. She was completely fine with it and everything ended up being perfect. I wish I lived closer to u bc I think I kno what ur looking for for your wedding makeup :) but u do ur makeup pretty anyways!!

  • awsome

  • Why don't you try out other makeup artists? There are good ones out there, but doing your own makeup is fine. Even Kate Middleton did her own makeup for her wedding and billions of people were going to be looking at her. Nothing wrong with doing your own. Brides get so caught up wth being a princess on their wedding day.

  • The SPF in makeup products doesn't really matter, frankly. You don't apply enough of them for them to actually give you much sun protection. Even moisturizer is not enough, the only thing that provides adequate SPF is sunblock and that should be reapplied every 2 hours. Pain in the butt but it's unfortunately true.
