morning after nose surgery

I had a septoplasty to fix a broken nose, and a turbinoplasty for better air flow. this is the next day. they straighten the septum, remove bone fragments, and cut into the turbinate all without making any cuts outside the nose

had septoplasty done last wed ,and could here him grinding away at my nose!!

was the most horrible feeling,,thinking i am going to be awake and they wont know !so i tried to squeeze my eyes to let them know i was waking up ,,and then i heard nothing after that ,,thank-god! and now i am on my way to healing and its going good so far,,,,no bruising ,and for pain T-3 worked great.so back to work in 2 more days ,,

Ouch that hurts.

I didn't hurt from the surgery itself(Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery). But this.

I literally teared...and the packs were longer than these=up to the back of the nose, and dripping with blood for 2 days.

Good news! Had the packing removed and NO BRAIN MATTER! Yippee! I can breathe!

I just had septoplasty and was told that the doc had to remove the packing. I think it also helps keep septum in line as well during the healing process. I had a bit of a complication once the packing was removed. My septum went out of alignment, go figure. Has anyone experienced freakish noises coming from them when they are sleeping? Jeeez! Who knew I could make sounds like that!

well i had Septoplasty and Turbinoplasty on monday....next week i am supposed to go to the doc to take out the package.. i really hope it won't be painful !!!
