@MagicPatrick1 I meant Life-Like T chassis, not T-Jets. The newer Nascar branded lifelike cars have a molded front axle, unlike the M's and most other brands. Once a wheel breaks it's done, from what i've read. I Dont actually own any of those... Yet. I have 2 Tomy AFX G+ and 2 L-L M's left, and a Tyco cliff hanger (#2 Vette/Glow). On order are 3 440X2 lamborghinis, 2 other 440's and 2 more L-L M's. Mattel is sending 6 chassis, yet to be determined type. (W/Cans) My want list is a mile long...

@pshoe64 Well I watched one of the other videos and figured it was simply the pinion itself sheared off. 3 teeth of the crown are gone aswell. After removing the arm and some tinkering, so yup i broke that too. One of the wires are missing. There should be 3?
Yes the pinion was spinning freely, considering it was only halfway on.
I've not been around the hobby in a good 10-15 years and alot has changed. Right now, I just need a cheap yet reliable runners. LL M's ain't it, lol. T's are worse

I've got a noob question,
Are the lams in a fixed position on the arm?
For instance, I'm running a Life-Like M chassis. Today it was running fine then suddenly stopped dead on the track, with motor running. Upon inspection I find the arm is no longer extended into the spacer for the pinion, allowing the rear axle to freely slide from side to side.
I tore it down to find there's no adjustment. I'm guessing the arm snapped, and not just slipped foward.
Great videos by the way, thanks!
If you can send me a picture of the chassis and the spacer position you describe. The lams are fixed as part of the armature axle and are soldered/welded in place. These can be broken free, but is an unusual occurrence. IS the pinion spinning on the armature shaft? That is more likely, and can be fixed with some strong glue, like JB Weld, or replace the pinion gear.
