alaska bluejay cam 2

More of my buddys scarfing down salt free peanuts. They are real smart and funny to watch. Most of them know me and will come when I call, but some of the younger ones are still afraid of me. If you hear me growling, it's because I am just off camera guarding against the crows and magpies. The bluejays seem to know this and play to it big time. Some of them know me so well that they will take a peanut from my hand.

Great video. Beautiful birds. I live in Kansas and my bluejays, although different looking love peanuts too. They aren't as tame as yours, and I have to disappear in the house before they will show up to eat, but they too try to cram more than one peanut at a time in their craw.
