Nugget and I compare a riffle sluice to a drop trap sluice. We find some South Carolina gold in the process. Thunderstorms chased us away after two hours at the creek. You will have to make your own decision which works best. Thanks for watching. We appreciate our subscribers!

  • Herb, What? No 1/2 inch nuggets? ;) Nice video guys.

  • @MyRoman9999 Ha Ha! Herb is spoiled. He is usually the first one to hit a creek and gets the big stuff. When he gets no nuggets, he whines. Can't feel sorry for him though as all gold is good gold. Thanks for watching and commenting.

  • Hey yall I am glad I found your videos they were great help. I am new at prospecting I am working a old creek bed that has no water in it I am about 2 miles from the Haile gold mine. • @ashley41414141 Maybe use a recirculating sluice/highbanker? You gotta bring your own water in, but you simple use the same water over and over.

  • @indyme2

hey if you kept saving all the gold you found, eventually youd have a lot

  • @ItMightBeAChicken We never know. Some days are better than others but all days are usually good. I won't quit my day job for this but could survive as a prospector. It's hard, back breaking work but a great experience. Thanks for the comment.
