Eighteen weeks doesn't sound like the end of waiting to me especially if I have suspected cancer or heart disease. It's all too vague. What about the wait before you get to see the specialist? This doesn't count. Golly don't ministers look young these days.
Fair play Andy, but you need to look at what happens once you are in the system and in need of continuing care.
I have been WAITHING on a LIST for two years for an appropriate wheelchair for my needs for nearly two yeears, and yet a PCT pen pusher told me this doesn't count as a Waiting List. Ho humm
But, don't let anyone be in any doubt about what would happen if the Tories get in
One on four people do not keep their appointments something needs to be done about that. Also for goodness sake sort out the mess that is N.H.S.dentistry, waiting lists are not the issue, actually finding one to treat you is the problem....get it sorted.
Cameron is sincere? My word, you are deranged

There is an 18 month waiting list to see a ME specialist in my area, East Sussex. So much for your 18 month promise!

Vote Conservative!Cameron is sincere. I used to be a die hard Labour supporter for 30 years but now see through the labour fog of lies.

18 weeks seems quite a while still...Still good though provided you can do it without overstretching the NHS.

From my personal experience the NHS is a mess. A big mess. You're just making it worse and worse.

Vapid nonsense Burnham, resources are limited - they should be apportioned according to clinical need not your ridiculous targets.
