Iphone 3GS self charging with no outside power source

I've been struggling a bit with short battery life on my iphone 3GS. Woke up this morning to discover my iphone is now charging without any outside power source.

no it was just the otter case, it has no battery. The phone was just acting odd that morning. :)

Phone was just acting up...no possible way to charge without power source.

@MULTIPLESHOTSFIRED wireless transmission is possible my theory is that ether your phone battery icon on the screen froze up in that state or you are trying to trick us into think that. (one way to do this is a inductive coil placed inside the phone, and the transmitter under the table.

that stuff does exist and if you have a more advanced electric toothbrush that you set on a tiny thing to carge, there is an example right in front of you!

So cool, they say here in Taiwan that the iphone 5 will be self recharging, weigh 0.24 pounds and look like the itouch 4. :)

That's pretty cool, and i agree. My I-Phone 3GS is always runnning out of batteries it's pretty annoying.
