Are there contradictions in the Bible? Many atheists would have you believe so. Mainstream media is guilty as well. Let's look at the truth.

  • @mkzmotorsports Can you please site outside evidence proving Genesis was written by a God and meant to be taken literally. You do realize it was written by Jews, yes? Find me a Jew who takes it literally.

You're clearly not well educated outside of the church, as you don't even understand sarcasm or the science you claim to be incorrect.

Less Bible, more Science Class. Just repeat that over and over in your head until it sinks in, freeing your mind, allowing you to return to sanity.

  • @jdddiah It was written by Moses under the inspiration of God. The fact that you don't think there are Jews that take it literally shows how spoon-fed you are. You have no defense for what I said about your Grand-Dad the rock so you take a feeble parting shot at it to reassure yourself of the lie you believe. You are done here since you can't do anything but babble and try to make it sound if you actually know something. Good bye.

  • Oh dear Lord. Where do I begin? C14 dating is only reliable for ORGANIC THINGS or things that once were. There are too may variables in the atmosphere to use it for dating purposes. Less Bible, More Science Class.

This is absolutely ridiculous. Fist off, doesn't anyone stop to notice the "Quick Synopsis" of the Creation Story also JUST HAPPENS to follow nicely with a quick synopsis of the Evolution Account?

And just because Adam hadn't named the animals does NOT PROVE they didn't already exist.

  • @jdddiah Where do you begin? Getting your facts straight would be a good starting point. Creation does NOT fit with evolution. God formed man from the dust of the ground & breathed life into him & he became a living soul, not a simple cell, fish, monkey, or anything else. Millions of years can't fit either because God said in the last verse of chapter 1 that all was very good. You can't have sin, death, and destruction of anything before that time! Animals were created same day as Adam.

  • @mkzmotorsports Further, since you like the evolution lie, how is your great grand-daddy rock? You know, "earth a hot molten mass, cools down, rains came, wash down the rocks, and creates the primordal soup. HUGE problem. If oxygen were present, it would oxidize the "simple cell" to oblivion. So if no oxygen was present, where'd the rain come from? And did the oxygen just appear, disappear, then later re-appear? Sounds like your evolutionary missing link...a fishing story.

  • @killa2king It means that based on c14 formation, the earth has to be less than 1/3 of 30,000 years old. This would make the earth less than 10,000 years old! Carbon dating is based on the assumption that the amount of C14 in the atmosphere has always been the same. But there is more carbon in the atmosphere now than there was 4 thousand years ago. Finally, the Bible shows the earth to be 6000 years old, I believe it.

  • @killa2king Forget physics if the dating can't match. illard Libby (December 17, 1908 – September 8, 1980) and his colleagues discovered the technique of radiocarbon dating in 1949. Libbey knew that atmospheric carbon would reach equilibrium in 30,000 years. Because he assumed that the earth was millions of years old, he believed it was already at equilibrium. However each time they test it, they find more c14 in the atmosphere, and have realized that we are only 1/3 the way to equilibrium.

  • @mkzmotorsports can you prove that the earth is only around 6000 years old.? If physics can be applied here then it would have taken more than 6000 years for the earth to be created, a lot more.

  • @jbass02 I hope that makes you feel better, because it still doesn't help your case. You are blinded by words of a few men that place themselves above God. go ahead with that, it's what you want. Going to church most of your life does no good. You can stand in a garage for 50 years and never be a car. Your plea to studying Christianity means absolutely nothing because you are not a Christian.

  • @mkzmotorsports You my friend are the one hiding. I've gone to church most of my life and studied the bible and Christianity extensively. But he more work I put in the further I see through all religions. In all my years studying geology (along with field work) the opposite happens. The overwhelming evidence along with the beauty and elegance of how it all comes together would floor anyone with even a partially inquisitive mind. Tho its clear you dont want to know that any of this exists.
