Ademco Security System Test (Fire Portion)

This test includes the following components:
-Bosch D273TH Smoke Detector
-System Sensor MHW Piezo-Horn
-Honeywell/Ademco 6160 Keypad
-Ademco Vista 10SE Control
The MHW in the video is set to continuous loud (setting 3) and the panel is pulsing the 12 volt sounder circuit to code-3 (if there is a burglary condition, it is continuous). In addition to the piezo-horn, there is an outdoor siren that is disconnected to avoid annoying the neighbors.

What field for programming did you use for power down and back up after a fire alarm? I find this as a big issue on my FA168CPS (20P) for any fire alarm which requires manual restart to clear latch of a 4-wire detector. When using this field, I'm assuming it will only execute for fire alarms only?

@ti17540 Sorry for the late response. This feature is built in to the panel I had at the time (Vista 10SE). The 20P will not do this. In order to reset 4-wire detectors on the 20P, you have to use one of the built in triggers (or a relay). This is clearly explained in the installer/programming manuals, but if you need more help, send me a PM.

@jman66053 alot of american detectors use magnets to test but here in the uk we either use smoke spray or buttons check my videos for uk detector tests and if u watch ud probally wonder how old i am . . . im 13!
