Minako Honda - "Medley(2004)"

Minako Honda is a Japanese famous female singer. At first she was a pop singer. But she sang various kind of music since she took vocal lessons. She also acted Miss Saigon(Kim) and Les Miserables(Eponine) in the Japanese version. In recent years, she was trying to sing classical music like Sarah Brightman. Though she was in the middle of growth, unfortunately she passed away at 38 years old by leukemia in 6th Nov 2005.

This "Medley" is one of the compilation of her activities as a singer for twenty years, and has become her last performance on TV. She was already attacked by the illness at this time.

I became a fan by renting her DSPA video in Kyoto but the first C.D. I bought was Overseas album. It confirmed me as a life-long fan. Thank you for helping her when she was here with us. She seemed to be beautiful at every level of her humanity. I have never seen another woman combine sensuality and real sweetness the way she did. Her untimely passing must be a terrible loss to you.
