Massive protest demonstration, rally against WATER RGULATRY COMMISION "act" 13-4-2011 & the PHE Ministry FOR the "Imposion of Jazia", the rise in water tariff and against this anti people decision of the Govt.

The large number of women, traders, and the residents of the west constituency joined the protest held to attract the attention of the Chief minister Omar Abdullah chairman DDB Jammu and the members of the District Development Board Jammu towards the long pending demands and the "rise in water tariff" to be discussed in the DDB meeting being held on 4 JAN .

The strong protest shav yatra effigies of PHE water regulatory commission and Ministry burnt for the rise in water tariff were burnt in the rally on the Amphalla-Newplot Janipur high court road..,

Adresing the protestants Sunil Dimple criticized the increase of water rent said this is " JAZIA" on Water. He demanded the chief minister OMAR ABDULLA and the PHE Minister Taj Mohidien, to immediate roll back the increased Water tariff which a poor man is unable to pay.

Sunil Dimple said we the people will not pay the revised water tariff and will stop the water rent in case the Govt did not take back its decision. He strongly criticized the uni lateral decision of the govt for increasing the drinking water tariff.

He demanded and said that people are facing acute scarcity of drinking water, so the Work on the Supply of Water to the People of Jammu City from RIVER CHENAB of Akhnoor should be started.

He strongly criticized the uni lateral decision of the PHE Minstery & The anti people ACT PHE REGULATRY COMMISION and the govt for increasing the drinking water tariff as the conman man was un able to pay the new increased water tariff from RS 300 to 800 and every year increase RS 200/ , by the GOVT as the rising prices has all ready broken the back bone of the conman man .

He expressed strong resentment problems faced by the people of Jammu region, city and particularly the Jammu west constituency due to frequent curtailments of the power cuts.

Dimple demanded chief minister Omar Abdulla for the installation of the New Receiving Grid station of 20 MV at Janipur and demanded funds for the improvement of poor electrification, as there is frequent curtailments and 10 to 15 hours cut in the city and constituency.

He further demanded chief minsiter to solve the "traffic problem" prevailing in the Jammu City and start the immediate works of Flyovers at Rehari Chungi, Jewel Chowk and Vikram Chowk and to install traffic signal lights in the Jammu city and on the 58 spots identified by the Govt. construction of multi storied parkings at Panjterthi, Supper bazaar shalmar, and at bus stand Jammu.

He demanded Omar Abdulla to hold fresh "Assembly Election" in the West assembly constituency as the MLA of the Constituency has been expelled from the BJP party and no develop ment is taking place in the constituency.
He announced that Secretariat will be gheraved on 7 Jan. if our demands are not accepted in tomorrows DDB Meeting.
Sunil Dimple alleged the decisions taken in District Development Board meetings in July 2011 has not been implemented and all our demands of the protest should be discussed in the DDB meeting being chaired by the CM on 4th jan.
