well not being confident might indicate a person who is able to see more possibility instead of that he has no idea
-
I know exactly how that last part feels

I feel the same way too and I believe this is related to the "Who the hell am I?" -question. Confident people have really clear image of themselves and they don't hesitate with different roles. No one, I believe, has just one role, and maybe there is no such thing as (just)ME. But confident people believe more in different roles they are playing at each time. Arrogance might be some sort of uncoscious defensive system for mind that has forgot it's own ambivalence but believes to be confident

I feel the same way.

I think you're all wrong, and I have the arrogance to prove it.

Arrogance and confidence. I picked neither

god damn this is what happened to me! I changed my life completely BUT!!! everyday it feels like I am pretending. Every single day!

lol yup, brains are assholes...thats why so much crap comes out of them :)

Arrogance is believing you are better than other people, but not necessarily believing you are good enough.
Confidence is believing you are simply good at it, it doesn't bear any relevance to anybody else.

i think arrogance is used to cover up the lack of confidence.
I believe arrogance is confidence used in a negative way

I think arrogance is being confident of something you don't have.
