  • i disagree. the tempo is perfect, it IS very fast, but Kocsis plays it so smoothly, it doesn't seem nervous or something. his performance is brilliant and i love it. you are complaining because you can't play it in that tempo so you are probably just jealous. and the orchestra is keeping up pretty good, sometimes they’re slowing down. to me everything sounds like a game, fun, so lively, just like Mozart should sound.

  • @Conner36 This was probably the practice in Mozart's time - the piano does a figured bass during the orchestral bits

  • The conductor looks remotely like Will Ferrell

  • 2:36 I LOVE HIM

  • Just like water flowing. Nice Job!

  • @ramonesica I agree. If anything, I imagine that if Mozart were witnessing the performance he'd urge them to play faster and faster just to see if they could do it, then clap his hands and cackle like a hyena when it all inevitably falls apart. Any Mozart piece demands near-perfection, but abhors a cold, clinical, emotionless approach. Like you said, it's fun.

  • i think it's awesome.

  • Danke, habe Link gesetzt

  • shame on the audience for such lame applause! people are not able to appreciate great artistry even when it's in front of their eyes.

  • the tempo sucks! please cut and paste this message to every other piece of music discussed on the internet.

  • Wait... I looked at the sheet music... What exactly are you talking about? I'll assume you are mentioning 0:24. I don't know of ANY bassoon solos in this piece... The bassoon is split into two parts at that passage. He was supposed to be resting. Of course he took a breath, silly; WTF do you do when you see a rest in music xD? I dunno about this tempo. I like it a lot, but it causes the orchestra to unsync at some parts.
