In at best a very tacky action, and at worse an incredibly disrespectful action the commander in chief gave a minute long shout-out and pumped his conference before addressing the tragic deaths of our servicemen and women down at Fort Hood. The President should have discussed our soldiers than praised his advisors for their stupid conference.

"his immediate thoughts and prayers are with the wounded and the families.." bullshit. His immediate concern was a shout out and to pump the egos of the people involved is this conference. What a liar.
It's well documented that she said could could make better decisions than a white person because of her inner city upbringing. What a crock of shit. I could just imagine the outcry if a white person said the reverse.
@weedhopperps51 That's not exactly what she said. I know the fake outrage that came out over the selected comment, including the nonsense that she was an unqualified, affirmative action selection. If you read her statements you'll find that what she was talking about was having a different perspective that may not have been represented in the high courts. And looking at the overall history, it may be something to think about since we've only had 2 black Judges, and 2 female judges prior to her.
@WuTangShogun36 That's not exactly a carefully crafted retort worthy of placative mind. I know the YT method of showing posts is a jumble that's wrapped up in a cluster fuck, but I was responding to the numbers cited . BTW, referencing how Obama got elected was perfectly fine when you guys ran the post page, but now we shouldn't focus on it? GIve me a break. Also, He has not been in office for 2 years. In fact, he has yet to complete his first year. Surely you knew of this fact, right?
he was elected november of 2008. that was 2 novembers ago. just because he wasn't exactly in office doesn't mean he couldn't do anything. They were giving him all the same documents and what not they were giving Bush. And Bush did absolutely nothing in his last 5 months of presidency.
I think you need to learn to count. November 2008 was little over 14 months, not 2 years. Second, the President has 2 1/2 months to get his transition team in place and select his advisers and cabinet members. He doesn't take office until the 20th of January. Third, if you wanna say that Bush did noting the last 5 months, then that is on him.Even though he is a lame duck, he is still the one and only President and we can not have two, which is why we call the incoming one the President -Elect.
@weedhopperps51 How did give shout outs like at a rap show? You say that race has nothing to do with it, but with statements like that, it's hard to think otherwise. I'm sorry, but Obama didn't go up leaning back and saying," I'd like to give a shout out to my nigga Ray Ray in Chi Town! ONE LOVE!" You're statement is so preposterous I'm shocked you actually thought that post out before typing it. Honestly, is there anything Obama does that you don't like?
Shout outs are part of a culture that's surrounded by guns drugs and violence. I know it's just my opinion but I don't think they have any place in the vocabulary of a U.S. President especially when he was about to speak on such a delicate matter. He goes way too far to give the appearance of being a regular guy which I don't think is necessary.
@weedhopperps51 Sorry, that's just silly. He was at an event put and aknowledged the contributions made by peopel either their or had a hand in it. Now, It probably would not have been my choice to do it, but I don't think this was really a shout out. I shout out is something fools do on the radio and in front of news cameras to get attention when it has nothing to do with either the topic or situation. And other than Obama being black, I see nothing that comes even close here.
