REUNITED?
Still Kaylor's pov*
Kaylor- hi Nick
He continued to slowly walk up the driveway.
Kaylor- so, how is things?
Nick- they're fine. How are things with you?
I knew exactly what he meant by that. I could see it in his eyes that he hated me. What he really meant was so how quickly did you get over me. And my answer is I will never get over you. I wanted to yell it at him and just give him a huge hug, but I couldn't because he hated my guts!
Kaylor- they've been better.
He froze and mad a quick face. He continued his way up here and he was now only 1 yard away from Joe. The corners of his lips rose a bit and he giggled to himself.
Nick- that soon huh?
He said that so low I wasn't sure if that was what he said. He must have taken my hint the wrong way.
Nick- so, you didn't care when you left did you?
Kaylor- what?
Nick- I said you didn't care about us when you left.
Kaylor- why would you say that Nick? I understand Joe saying that but you? I thought you would defiantly understand.
He stopped walking and he was a yard away from me.
Joe- Erika and Stefani you guys want to come over?
Erika- yeah.
Stefani- no! I want to see how this will end.
Erika shot Stefani a look and Stefani's smile went into a frown.
Stefani- fine, whatever.
I could feel the sadness written across my face.
Nick- you know you where happy that you left.
Kaylor- no, not really! I hated myself Nick! Besides I am not the only one to blame here! You were the one who broke up with me remember?
Nick- that was different.
Kaylor- how nick? Tell me? What was I suppose to do? Wait around while you went from girl to girl? Did you want me to sit in my room and start making tally marks for everyday I went without you?
Nick- You know I wrote you a song? I was going to go to your house and sing it for you but you were gone.
How did he want me to react to that? Aww Nick! You wrote me a song! I love you! Let's go make out!! Of course not! That just made me angrier.
Kaylor- wow Nick really? What do you expect me to do know? Run into your arms?
Nick- I don't know Kaylor!
He took a few steps closer and we where now hugs length apart.
Nick- I just don't like fighting with you! I was hoping that coming over here would make things better! Maybe we could start off where we left?
Did he mean that? Was he just trying to show me that I still had feelings for him? Well I am not going to let him know that I do.
Kaylor- I don't like fighting with you either Nick.
His eye sparkled and his lips started to rise.
Kaylor- but I'm sorry. I don't want to be in a relationship with you.
He looked hurt, like I had stabbed him. His mouth opened a little bit. I knew I was being stupid to let him go like that. I couldn't be with him because it didn't feel right. I opened my arms for a hug and he turned around.
Nick- see ya.
That was the same thing he said when I told him I was leaving. The same look and everything. I didn't want him to hate me all over again. I didn't want him to cry alone in his room. He was already at the end of my driveway heading over to his house. He was in the same spot when I turned on him and went to my car. There was no way in hell I was doing this again. I am willing to do anything to make things ok with us. I ran down there to him and turned him around and kissed him. I broke the kiss and hugged him. He stood there confused. I was waiting for him to put his arms around me like he used to. He put his left arm on my back and stood there. Finally he put his right arm on my back and it was official. We were both coo-coo for coco puffs about each other. Unfortunately this was true. He broke our hug and stared me in the eyes. He shook his head no and we just stood there starring at each other. I looked down feeling like an idiot. I was searching for the right feelings. The feelings I used to have for him but they weren't there. He put his pointing finger and thumb around my chin. He lifted my head up and smiled.
Nick- let's start from day one. Ok?
I knocked his hand from my chin and turned around. I walked back to my house. I didn't know what I was doing but I felt defeated and like I let him win. But I guess in some way we were reunited. I think. I went up to my room locked the door and lay on my bed. I closed my eyes and napped.
