I seen mackie thumps are they the same speaker as tapco?any one know??? I would like to buy some budget speakers that sound good for Dj

I've done a bit of research on these speakers. The 'Tapco' Thumps are now discontinued and Mackie have rebranded them and bought them out. Is it just a case of rebranding or have they redesigned the amplifier/speakers as well?

Do you know how to Bi-amp a EAW LA325 using MX250 DSP ? For low frequensies , i use Crown-3600VZ and High/mid Frequensies, i use Crown Xti400 Amp. External Crossover is eaw MX250.
Back of the EAW-LA325 there are two inputs ( Nl4) and a dedicated switch for Bi-amp and Full Range.

The new tapco's have the mackie name on the speakers.I bought my pair over a year ago and there still kicking.

what would i need to make them work can i just get a reviever with an imput for an ipod or something and just hook them up to that ar do i need something else please help i want to get a nice system for my house or do you think a pair is way to much for a house please recomend something if you think its to much THANKS

Just got the new Mackie Thump 15A. The sound is amazing. The Low End has that crystal clear BOOM, even without the EQ. Sounds like it has a BBE Sonic Maximizer built in it. Dosen't take to much for it to peak though. With my Numark NS7 turned half way up the TH15A's are peaking like crazy. Excellent speaker thought. Unbelievable sound.

Yeah man, I mean they probably don't have as much power as the Mackie's, but shit, they sound just as good if not better don't they? :)
