  • This is bad-assed, Any way to get a left handed version of this tremolo? how about installing it on a fixed bridge bass?

  • @smallgiant9 Great question! All Kahler professional series bridge are designed to be both left or right handed. All you need to do is let us know you need a left handed arm and your good to go.

  • I have an old "japanese steel reinforced neck" 4 string bass with somewhat of a bo diddley shaped body. Some kind of old teisco type thing. I would be interested in something like this. Is this a "top load" tremolo or is it floating with springs?

  • @nickpelkey Good question. Yes this is a top loading bridge… and yes the bridge does float

  • @brayant152h We would be more than happy to send you the replacement part. There are two ways we can go about doing so.

Please send us a personal message and I'll let you know or your direct email address.

    Thanks, Mike -Team Kahler

  • @scarred2112 Thanks...that bass and I have been together since 1983...I put my Kahler trem in back in 1987.

  • @smallgiant9 the tremelo works both left and right-handed . the only thing that might be weird is the bar is really meant for right-hand .. so im not sure how that would feel !

    They are great tho !

  • Beautiful tone, playing, and Kahler usage on an equally beautiful early '80s Ibanez Musician!

  • @KahlerUSATrems i'm currently trying to decide between the 2410 and 7410. What should I consider for measurements? How deep is the needed route? After this I'm looking to improve on an oakland axe factory prototype fanned fret 10 string 30-27 scale that I've been privileged to acquire. Tom is super cool. The high A is a pita so I'm looking to alter the tuning. I'm too rough on it. Thanks for the reply.

  • @KahlerUSATrems Trying to decide between the 2410 and 7410. Will see what best works with the bass. Any measurements I should consider? Wondering about route depth as its not the thickest instrument. Is 1 inch what I've been seeing? I know I should consider how high the saddles go to match the current setup. After this I have a ten string prototype from oakland axe factory that I'm looking to improve upon. It has fanned frets 30-27 scale. I'm glad to see you have a bridge perfect for it.

  • I mostly play folky metal stuff with long sustained notes, just having my bass on my lap and imagining how the lines would sound with a vibrato and I can't help drooling. :D Love the video, vibratos on basses are such a rarity it's nice to have this kind of stuff online. Thanks!
