Townsend's vocals are far from bad, dude. I'd say that his vocal talents are probably the best I've heard to date, and most likely the most versatile and best vocals in Metal today.
Although this song far from showcases this.

I would like to think that Devin didn't change anything on purpose. He's certainly capable of turning this song into something completely different, and the fact that he didn't might just mean he liked the original too much to change it.

it doesnt touch the orginal- Todd avery's voice is is more raw and desperate- its not a bad cover and I love the song but they didnt add anything differnet and the guys voice just sounds- like he is signing a cover
