Here is the first in the series of a few tutorials about the PMDG 747. We start of with the basics at Paine Field WA, USA in a cold + dark cockpit. Then using my method, I teach you the basics for you to then try at home.
This is somewhat easier than some other tutorials I have seen but anyway...
enjoy!

  • My panels still won't turn on!!! It's the same with my md 11 it doesn't work :(

  • @metalskateboarder965 Make sure you follow the tutorial to the letter! This is important. However, it may seem that your computer is having compatability issues with PMDG issues in general if the MD-11 is affected as well. Does your computer meet the requirements for the addons?

  • Great vid......just 1 question...i keep getting yaw damper lwr and yaw damper upr error showing,i have googled my a**e off trying to get the solution but nothing....any advice.......... thanks

  • @mick19411 I'm referring to the default model. PMDG don't do Cessna! :)

I was in the Air Training Corps to until about a year ago. I really wanted to focus on my schoolwork for my exams.

    Thanks

    pd95 :)

  • Hi, thank you for your quick response. When you say load up the Cessna 152, are you referring to PMDG add-on? or FSX default, thank you again for your help, I was in the air training Corps, back in the 50s, did some flying in a chipmunk and twin-engine Anderson, good memories. Michael.

  • @mick19411 You can do this another way if this should fail you.

Load up the Cessna 152 and turn everything off... even the battery. Then load up your PMDG 747 and you should then have a Cold and Dark cockpit.

    Try uninstalling and reinstalling too.

    Thanks for your kind words

  • Hi, I enjoy your video tutorial 747, I have PMDG 747 installed into my FSX, there is only one problem, I load the PMDG 747, when I go into load flight for cold and dark- KPAE, it is not their? all the other programs are loaded in their, do you have to download cold and dark for 747? As a add-on, and if so where do I find it, hoping you can help, thank you. Michael. PS keep those videos coming.
