I was up by Scranton pa this weekend..and we saw about 10 or so in a row on top of the mountain..I loved them. Im fascintated by them and could watch them all day. Was wondering why some move and some don't . Are they "turned off..wish I know exactly how they worked..love this!! Thanks

I think the ones that aren't moving may just be facing a different direction, so they don't receive as strong a wind. Maybe they work better with night winds or something?

yes, these things are INCREDIBLY massive... parts are brought by train, most of the way, and then short distance by truck since they are so massive.. i saw a bunch of these this weekend in west tx. each blade is longer than a semi truck with trailer.

Literally, wind has a power. This power is being converted into electrical energy through the device which is wind turbines. Even progressive countries like US is aware of the effectiveness of wind energy in generating electrical power. US proved that green energy through wind power can sustain the high demand of power supply in the country.
