FZR 600 Pacific Raceways Crash NESBA trackday

Crashed on turn 4 while doing a NESBA trackday @ Pacific Raceways in 2003 and just getting bumped that day from the beginner to intermediate group. Busted my ankle and busted the bike worse. Sadly, the battery disconnected from the camera during the crash. - Enjoy!

You'll love the R6, fantastic performer in the curves and I love that slipper clutch! Just make sure you invest in a steering damper asap, they are quick to lean in for a reason and very twitchy when you're on the power a lot! Just got one this year, my first streetbike. True! I found "maximum lean angle" that day :-). These days, I am much more adept at abusing those knee pucks.
I ended up with a broken ankle, and about $1200 damage to the bike. It was all fixed up, and I have sinced moved on to an R6 track tool. I still have the ol fizzer, and think i will probably be selling it this year. Kind of sad to se it go, it was really good to me.
