Composer: Andreas Leonhardt, * April 20th, 1800, Asch/Eger, Bohemia, + October 3rd, 1866, Vienna.
dedicated Prince Eugene of Savoy in memory of his victory over the Turks at Belgrade on August 16th, 1717.

  • Of course Turkey is more powerful. Their GDP is 2 times and their population 10 times bigger. Austria only has 8 million inhabitants and is ruled by political correct politians. I don't want any kings, but we must stop this shameful decline of our culture, Why not set up a political union of Austria, South Tyrol, Croatia, Hungary, Czech republic, Rumania, Slovakia...establish one central power and try to regain some influence. Our borders are a joke, we have lost our will to rule
