Composer: Andreas Leonhardt, * April 20th, 1800, Asch/Eger, Bohemia, + October 3rd, 1866, Vienna.
dedicated Prince Eugene of Savoy in memory of his victory over the Turks at Belgrade on August 16th, 1717.

Of course Turkey is more powerful. Their GDP is 2 times and their population 10 times bigger. Austria only has 8 million inhabitants and is ruled by political correct politians. I don't want any kings, but we must stop this shameful decline of our culture, Why not set up a political union of Austria, South Tyrol, Croatia, Hungary, Czech republic, Rumania, Slovakia...establish one central power and try to regain some influence. Our borders are a joke, we have lost our will to rule
