Granny, can I adopt you? I crochet and would love to sit with you on the sofa and crochet and talk. You are an amazing lady and I pray that whomever received this beautiful coverlet will cherish it and take good care of it so it can be an heirloom to be enjoyed thru multiple generations. Don't let the dog up on it, kids up on it or eat/drink near it.

i know the pattern came from an old book 1945 or so but I wish I could remember which pone do you still have the pattern you used to show it on and old video why did you take it off/

I watched this entire video. A life time of stitches. 67 years is a life time. My mother died at 67 years old - just about 1 1/2 years ago. To know this blanket took my mothers lifetime is just amazing to me. The crochet hook is as old as my mother was.
Listening to this beautiful women just warms me through. The passion for such a project is incredible.

My deepest admiration for the dedication it took to do this beautiful bed spread. I sure hope the receiver of this beautiful/heirloom bedspread understands and appreciates the importance of such a gift. Please enjoy and take care of it.
