A little nicky nicky nine door prank on a buddy of mine to test out the Hero GoPro Wide Helmet cam. Riding my 2007 Husqvarna te450 in Toronto (North York).
For complete guide on how to render for youtube, visit this tutorial: http://www.gtamotorcycle.com/vbforum/showthread.php?t=85835

Tested 3 different modes of rendering - RAW 512x384 file, 852x480 (widescreen with youtube high quality option), and 1280x720 (widescreen with youtube high definition quality option). Check my "other videos" for the other renders and let me know what version you think looks best!

This version is the 852x480 render.

  • This is the best. Followed your guide. But mine got 4:3 (not widescreen) :/

  • What video editing software are you using? Did you follow my guide in the gtamotorcycle forums? If so, make a reply to that post and I'll try to help you out as best I can...

  • I think I got it now. I had to stretch the video (raw footage) in Virtualdub to make it widescreen (16:9) before i imported it to sony vegas. Anyways, thank you so much for helping me :) Your guide really helps me. And such a good cam for the price :)

  • glad you got it working, but you shouldn't have to stretch it before importing into sony vegas. just make sure that you are creating the project correctly from the start (when you click file, new) and that you use the exact settings as shown in BOTH of my screenshots. And yes, it's a great camera for the price!

  • Ok, I'm going to take a look for it tomorrow! Off to bed now ;) Thank you for your help and fast replies :) Tested it on a motorcycle / moped today. Results were awesome :)

  • I think I know what the problem was - I added one more screen capture below my other two (see the tutorial again) - there is an option to "stretch" the video at the last step, when you render, that must be selected. that was probably the problem! let me know...
