Huge flocks of birds migrating to Rome in Winter and ataying around the river. This was shot from the bridge to Hadrian's mausoleum.

  • This probably shows how the birds died in Arkansas. You can see the flocks separating and merging back together,etc. During the day they can see each other and evade each other. The flock in Arkansas was scared by something and took off after dark. When you're dealing with a huge number of birds like that, to have 1,000 to 5,000 birds crash into each other and die seems likely.
