A rare opportunity to see Lancia against Porsche and Jaguar on the world-famous Monza Autodrome in Round 1 of the 1986 World Sportscar Championship. Lancia were mainly concentrating on the World Rally Championship in '86 but fielded Andrea de Cesaris and Sandro Nannini against the more regular teams such as Derek Bell and Hans Stuck (Porsche 962C) and Jaguars in the hands of Derek Warwick and John Louis Schlesser. The action was sizzling. With time for only one fuel stop and driver change, the pressure was really on! The cameras capture the searing speed and frantic activity at the pit counters.
