Pete talks about John's death, Zak's drumming, "new" band members versus "old" band members, the Boston 2004 concert, and (lots) more.

This video is from the "The Who: Live in Boston" DVD from 2004. It's from the special features section. Watch in HD!

  • While Pete is an absolute genius and has changed the face of rock, and while I absolutely fucking worship his guitar playing and his songwriting and have all the Who and solo albums that Pete has created, I do wish Pete would stop re-emphasising and reiteraing his genius vis-a-vis Roger being merely a singer. There are TWO original members left, not fucking one. Without Roger's unique voice and presence, Pete would have lacked the necessary frontman to propel his songs into the world.

  • endless wire is beautiful album

  • what a dull shirt, looks prison issue lool

  • @stonecrazy99 dont compare pete with fucking noel gallagher !! pete is 10 times the person noel is

  • @tomthefunky I agree. There's nothing cooler than an old Fender Tweed.I would love to have a play through that.I bet it sounds sublime.

  • @modo03: Good call. I stand corrected. The Peavey is a much bigger amp than that one. So that's his famous '59 Bandmaster. What is it about an old beat up Fender tweed amp that I find so beautiful? It's just a box with a speaker in it, but it's the coolest looking thing to me.

  • @tomthefunky This isn't the Peavey vintage,this is actually Pete's Fender 1959 bandmaster as used on Who's next etc.The Peavy vintage is a 4x10.The Fender(seen here)is a 3x10.
