Live WSUK Radio benefit show disrupted by Carl from New Jersey

This is pretty nuts. Backstory from the AP newswire:

KINGSTON, NEW YORK -- During a recent live broadcast by radio powerhouse WSUK, a patron calling himself "Carl from New Jersey" rudely interrupted an otherwise warm welcome to Casablanca recording artists, The Fartknockers.

According to witnesses---Who talked exclusively with News One---As the Fartknockers were taking the stage, "Carl" engaged the veteran band in an innocuous enough manner. However things turned sour quick as the devilish antagonist began lashing out with quite an opprobrious tongue.

The weekend radio show had promised "560 bands, half of them transvestites," however after the incident most performers refused to take the stage.

Carl was stared at by the crowd for the rest of the show.
