New song with Mike Mushok PRS Baritone. Mighty indeed! 'Razors From Hell' is an "in joke". I need lyrics!

  • Love it. I have the same guitar, but Ihaven't written anything nearly as good as this. Nice work.

  • @MitchHansenBand Thank you, get cracking on it then!

  • This is by far one of the best songs ive heard where a baritone is used, sounds like a chevelle\breaking benjamin song.

  • @Notso94 great compliment thanks, those are probably my 2 favorite bands currently and definitely the inspiration to get a baritone.

  • My baritone had 13-70 strings. Tuned B to B. And it was too tight for drop b or c. Some lighter strings work great for drop B.

  • @Explorer766 the trick is to use a heavier gauge string set but not to crazy thick gauges. all my guitars came with the standard 10-46 but ive been able to put ernie ball 10-52 and not even worry about the the nut. as for baritone, theyre good from B standard all the way down to (from friends) drop F# before even those strings flop.now you can however tune a baritone up to C standards. but go any higher and you seriously risk breaking strings while playing. any more questions, hit me up.

  • @crazybadcuber My friend has the burst, I think it looks alot better. I got mine used, pretty incredible deal so I had no choice.

  • @Explorer766 no problem. I like the mushok guitar so much I went and bought one yesterday after watching some youtube vids including this one =) I didn't get the silver burst though, I got the brown burst or tobacco burst whatever it's called. I like it so much I think I might have to get the silver burst as well haha

  • @crazybadcuber Thanks a lot.

  • @hype236 What tuning do you use for Baritone? To my knowledge Drop B and C is right in a Baritone's wheelhouse. To tune a standard scale that low you'd have to widen the nut slots for heavier strings and I've always ended up with wonky sounding major chords. It just never intonates right for me. Am I missing some tricks you know of?
