When he was on Letterman, I was in college and I got his home phone number. We talked a few times for an interview and he was great - nice, funny, etc. He loved Letterman, who played stupid on purpose - Theo wanted that type of response. That was Letterman's brilliance - he really loved complicated humor. Yeah, Letterman today is another late nite talking head, but Letterman then was outstanding for finding the oddballs of humor. Theo never would have been seen outside Manhattan without him.

God, he was great! No one like him today - He outdoes 99% of the comic riffraff that's doing standup today. LONG LIVE BROTHER THEODORE!!

All of Brother Theodore's TV appearances on YouTube are from David Letterman. Would like to see some of his appearances on Merv Griffin, Dick Cavett or Johnny Carson from the 60's and 70's.

My description is 3/4 fact. It's only my opinion that he was the funniest man to escape Dachau. If there's been a competition and somebody won, let me know.
