@bobbytiger well here in the "pussy" U.S., we have civil courts whereby one can be sued for breach of contract instead of needlessly involving the police and criminal courts who have more pressing needs to attend to. And before any of that happens, it is customary to not pay someone until they have completed the job. So in this case they could have just withheld his pay. I am sure a country like Mexico could use its police for more important things than arresting bull fighters who get cold feet.
