  • Mm, SDM is nice. But what about all the fringing issues? I heard some 16-50s are just fine, while some suffer greatly from these issues.

  • My lens is ok

  • Heyy nice gear you got there .. is it faster than the 50-135mm lens ?

  • I dont have 50-135 yet, i think just the same

  • Now I've got both, i don't think it's a big difference between focus speed, imho.

  • SpeadFreakNO: how do you fix them (I´ve never worked with raw).

Does anyone know how the 17-70mm is compared to this one?

  • Every fast (F/2.8) lens wide open shows them. By F/4 most are gone.

  • What do you mean fringing? Why does it have aberrations? Isn`t this supposed to be the cream of pentax lenses?

  • It has fringing (cromatic abberations), but it's easyli fixable in a raw converter. I use raw + Adobe Camera Raw, and it's not a problem at all. And the sharpness is stunning.
