Tammie Lang Campbell, founder/executive director of the Honey Brown Hope Foundation, who buried the n-word on 07/07/07 (burial featured on CNN), went to Washington, D.C. to confront Colorado Springs' U.S. Rep. Doug Lamborn (R-Colo.) regarding his racial rant. Although tar baby has been used as an insult to black people since the 1880s, U.S. Rep. Doug Lamborn said that he didn't know that it is a racial slur.

RESPECT is a core value that every elected official in America should demonstrate for self and others. On behalf of the descent citizens of America, we want to send a clear message to U.S. Rep. Doug Lamborn that ignorance is no defense for racism.
