Rachel Maddow, Richard Engel lies and says Taliban carried out 9/11

Rachel Maddow continues her propaganda in support of Obama's plans to expand the war in Afghanistan and attacks on Pakistan.

Richard Engel blatantly lies and says the Taliban carried out 9/11, an accusation which even Bush doesn't make.

The Taliban condemned the 9/11 attacks and offered to cut off Osama's head if we provided evidence of his involvement.

But there was no evidence of Osama's involvement, and the Taliban rightfully refused to turn him over.

But Richard Engel doesn't want to let facts get in the way of good war propaganda, war that benefits the owner of NBC and other defense contractors.

Unlike the American people, the people of India and Pakistan will not allow their governments go to war because of a terrorist attack.

We destroyed any opportunity for winning the hearts and minds of the
Afghan people when we arrested innocent people and tortured them to death.

The war, as usual, only benefits the military-industrial complex:

defense contractors,
military brass,
intelligence agencies,
security firms.

Obama's "change" is that the death notices will no longer say
"killed in action in Iraq,"
they'll say
"killed in action in Afghanistan."
