amanda righetti is definitely hot, but she looks a bit to young to me to play a complex character like kahlan. also i can't imagine her slashing guys to pieces with a sword. but hey to each his own.what did you think of david carradine as zedd? and do you have a perfect cast aswell? i'm really curious.

Did I read correctly that you cast Adrian Brody as Nicholas the Slide? While I agree with the cast choice, he wasn't in Wizard's First Rule. He showed up in Naked Empire.

The cast of Legend of the Seeker, in my opinion, fit the characters quite perfectly, except for Craig Horner. He just wasn't Richard. But Tabrett Bethell and Bridget Regan were absolutely perfect for their roles as Cara and Kahlan, respectively. And I think Craig Parker would have been an absolutely perfect Darken Rahl had he blonde hair instead of black.

ok, first of all Keira Knightley is just a desperate man's Natalie Portman and in inferior to her in every way, looks,acting, intelligence etc. etc. etc.

and neither have the body to pull off kahlan, not to mention that Keira is a midget.

Shame on you for wanting a midget with the body of a 5yr old boy to be Kahlan.

although, i agree with the Tom Welling for Richard thing. . .. but don't you think Superman being Richard (or the guy who played Jesus) is a little bit, "on the nose"? :p

Dear Hollyned123, Thanx for your reaction. I do agree with you that the chosen characters should be able to portray the role and not only look the part. I have to admit that the coices of Rose Byrne and Tom Welling were based on looks, but Knightley (I think she can play the part, but to each it's own) and James Caviezel are based on earlier roles (count of monte cristo) as are my choices for Nathan. But like I said; to each it's own.
