Taos Journal - Hog Farm 60's Hippie Commune

A visit with Oxygen Nichols, "caretaker" of the infamous Hog Farm, a mobile hallucination-extended family experiment from the 1960's in Llano Largo New Mexico. She also runs the Glam Trash fashion show held in Taos. This was the commune where the likes of Wavy Gravy, Ken Kesey and Ram Das hung out before it was moved to Woodstock NY.

I lived just north of taos in 71 at morningstar just down the road from new buffalo, I was friends with brother John and zappada Ken and wavey, Me and my mother (mums)helped clean Watkins Glen for e.p.p in Norton Vt.was given the licence from the blue goose for my car to drive back to tennessee.....Tn Jerry

"Just my opinion", but I'm not all that keen on the hippies. They rebelled against their parents, and the establishment, and then later they decided to make lots of money and become republicans. Those are the same people who are anti everything now.
