@YANAandEnsemble actualy its funny and yes !!! i get those proposals lol, i've checked recently the statistics for the video and its something like 60 % from Egypt & Saud Arabia, but from ages 25 to 50 from women, and i liked this very much :)

Your type of dance is what I've been looking for. I used to go to belly dance classes run by a Lebanese lady in my hometown. I didn't know what type of belly dance it was that I'd been learning - just that I loved it and it was beautiful and fun. I've found it so disheartening going back into the dance and coming across all the cabaret and tribal stuff. Raqs Baladi is where it's at! You are an astounding dancer with the grace of a queen even in rubber gloves! Thank you :).

@Idunsdottir I so agree with you! Many people think that -in order to make a performance "interesting" and appealing to the public- they have to do a lot, and i really mean A LOT of difficult isolations and three isolations at the same time, etc. All you have to do is to be authentic, having good technique and expression and just respecting for the style you are dancing and the culture of those countries it comes from :-)
