Bartok took Hungarian folk music into classical every bit as much as Barrios took Latin American music. That is what he is known for, and he is the sort of music-hero for Hungary that Barrios is for Paraguay

You know, we play for fun. The word play, german: spielen, (swedish: spela), spanish: toccare, all means the same: have fun!
Like childrens playing. They twist the reality and have fun and at the same time they learn about it, the reality.
Maxixe is a Brazilian danceform. Rythm is the key for such music, so we added a little of that to the original composition, which is what we believe Barrios hade done if he would play his own Maxixe in band.
