This is the final project for an online course at UCSD, "Embedded Computer Hardware Design". The requirements for the project are to construct a Lego Mindstorms mobile robot, let it start in a room, exit through a door, enter a second room, enter an elevator, then exit the elevator. This implementation uses a line following algorithm with a proportional controller. The error signal is the difference between a black line and a light carpet. An ultrasonic sensor is used to detect the elevator door. The simulated elevator is a cardboard box.
