back to the future cartoon season 1 ep 1 brothers part 3

Upset with his brother, Jules, Verne runs away from home using the De Lorean. Doc, Marty and Jules go back in time to find him during the Civil War on February 11, 1864 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. When General Tannen's armies tie up Marty, Verne gasps. Jules and Verne end up on opposite sides of the war; Verne is recruited by the Confederates and Jules in the Union army. During a big battle, both armies see the boys meet and huddle together in the center of the battlefield. The soldiers realize that they are fighting their own brothers, cousins, uncles and nephews. Both parties walk away from the battle without fighting.

I agree entirely with cometcooties, the voices are distracting and it makes no sense considering Lloyd was perfectly available. The cartoon is complete shit and doesn't do the movies any justice at all, even a die hard can see that.

I cannot stand the way they rehash an already overused plot formula again and again for each episode. And you're seriously hearing impaired if you didn't notice Homer Simpson was doing Doc's voice.

@cometcooties Good lord what a whiner. Its a fun cartoon for anyone who loves the movies. I didn't even notice christopher Lloyd wasn't voicing the cartoon. If you want to bitch about ANYTHING, it should be the fact that the time machines are magically able to also select a destination in this series, where they could not in the movie. They always traveled to the same place in a different time.  Also, electromagnets wont even work without insulation.

I don't get it. If they could get Christopher Lloyd to do the live action segments of Doc, why couldn't they get him to voice him in the cartoon? Ugh. This is just one big crapfest. I can't even stomach it pretending Verne and Jules are Marty and Doc's kids. I hate this animation style that was so popular around this time. And I keep picturing Danny Phantom in Marty's place whenever he talks!
