in the early 1950's during the Korean war my mom gave birth birth to a boy who would have been my oldest brother Paul he only lived 18 hours my dad was away in the army at the time having been drafted

my mom had several miscarriages before my brother Bruce was born in 1956

in the fall of 1965 i was born premature I weighed 4lbs 10ozs
I survived




in the spring of 2000 I was run over by an 18 wheeler again I survived

the infant mortality rates around the world in some places are staggering

in Sierra Leone 138 infants die for every 1000 live births

in Sudan its 86 per 1000 live births

in India it's 32/1000

people in these countries need to be taught a few simpe lesons to make ther lives longer like boiling or filtering the water they use for cleaning and cooking coking food thoroughly to kill bacteria i could go on for ever with this stuff but i will not

pay more than lip service to the cause do something real join the peaxe corps, or sponsor a child, talk to your elected leaders. Change the World in my name
