A review of two inexpensive holster for the popular 380 pocket pistols. The review looks at an Inside the Pocket Holster and an Inside the Waist Band Holster with each holster being under $10.00. The holsters will fit popular models like the Bodyguard 380, Taurus TCP, Ruger LCP, Diamondback DB380, Kel-Tec P3AT and Kahr P380.

  • @FirearmPartiot At first I thought my laser went to crap bcuz it wasn't working when I wanted to use it. After I cleaned it, it started to work again. The problem was there was a lot of carbon build up on the BG. Again don't use Monarch ammo it really cause a lot of carbon build up and within the same 50 round box I had a total of 4 rounds that miss fired and jammed again. I won't be buying that anymore not even to practice. And why is the break down lever so hard to disassemble? Mmmmm...

  • @Voiz2Noiz When the BG380 first came out, they had problems with the takedown lever coming out while the weapon was being fired. This is why it is so tight I believe. I have not experienced any problems with the takedown lever on my BG380. It has over 600 rounds through it now.

  • @Firearm Patriot thanks for the info and I am looking for a holster for my 380 bodyguard. In fact, I shot my pistol today and its performance exceeded my expectation. I am no expert shooter, but the 15 yard distance was no problem. I focus on the C.N.S. area. Impressive results I got. Ok, I had three shots to the right forearm, but I knew my mistakes and corrected it. Oh by the way, stay away from Monarch ammo. I had a misfire followed by a jam. Winchester, Federal and Remington was fine.

  • @Voiz2Noiz Thanks for the information on the ammo. I would look at the DeSantis Nemesis for pocket carry as well. Very well constructed and sticks to your pocket well. Unfortunately, my BG380 is back at S&W due to the laser assembly backing out. It has been a frustrating problem. After about 500 rounds, I can shoot the BG about as good as any gun I own. It can be shot very accurate with practice.

  • @FirearmPatriot And by the way, thanks for the info...

  • @FirearmPatriot it stays very well better that the blackhawlk!

  • @GeorgiaShooter I agree that the rear sight is sharp and can present problems for drawing the Bodyguard especially from a pocket holster.

  • I need to have my bodyguard sights rounded on the rear to remove the sharp edge, that is certainly an issue with the BG-380 that should be addressed by the owner or S&W, in my opinion
