These protestors are being counter-productive. Singapore is run well, unlike our so-called democracies here in the West. I wish my Canadian government were replaced by PAP.

I did not say the PAP was perfect. I have criticism of my own against PAP: PAP is being irresponsible and evil by turning a blind eye to the 'flesh trade' and prostitution. PAP has to be pressured into being more consistent on law, order and high civic responsibility. Don't let PAP off the hook, because it should be better than to let such crap occur in Singapore. By the way, PAP is worth more than the U.S. government, which itself isn't worth dung, as results show.

The Police force is a blunt tool of the PAP.

the police should serve the law NOT the PAP.

WE, the citizen, pay for the police.. NOT the PAP..

if the police commanders have no integrity to do the lawful thing.. and do their work with conscience, will they say NO to the PAP when someone says SHOOT...

Someone will pay the price if YOU dont VOTE.. it may not be you but it might be a loved one.

The police are not there to promote safety. They are not arresting her as it would complicate matters with the forreign media that are there recording. The PAP does not want to send out a message that speakers at the Speakers Corner were "cornered". This would fall back on the government.. Smart move but not smart enough when we have been with this party. We KNOW this them all too well.
