After downloading the files, go to http://ares.palm.com and get started by signing in. If you don't have an account, you can create one for free. This video is a great way to get started on Palm's recently released Beta version of Ares. Note that Ares is not compatible with many browsers and (currently) should probably only be used with Safari, although Firefox may work as well.

Switching projects in Ares is simple, especially if you're used to Visual Studio or Eclipse. Your projects are inside the top directories in Ares, so to run any project, simply open a source file in that project. That's it...
