I would just like to remind others that Octacon's not the only one coming to save Snake. Grey Fox will come to save Snake if Snake decides to use the ketchup on his "ration" instead. If ya know what I mean.

P.S. Octacon dose not die if you save Meryl, he is later picked up by the chopper Campbell sent for Snake and Meryl.

Actually, from my experience, turbo-fire and auto-fire both work regardless of what Ocelot says.
