Playing under the pseudonym "Rubber Band of Wolves," Nightwish performs a secret show two days prior to their event at the Gibson Theatre. This is the first show in support of their seventh studio album, Imaginaerum.

Just one question: Do people actually know that it will be NW performing under a fake name? It prob gets out at some point, or is this a complete surprise for the people present that NW is all of a sudden performing for them?

Nightwish will always will be the best, no matter who sings the songs, most important is strong lyrics and music itself.

Tarja Era with Nightwish ended, I appreciate that she done 5 amazing albums with Nightwish, but roller coaster is still open and it is your own choice to participate or not.

Anette is wonderful singer and with Imaginaerum she showed how good is she.

Nightwish music and lyrics are still the same, as it was from beginning.

@maikol977 It's "secret" in the sense that Nightwish always plays a show a few days before the start of a tour under a fake name, just to make sure they're all on the same page and everything works. They played this show as "Rubber Band of Wolves." On the DPP tour, they played a show as "Nachtwasser" (German for Night Water) a few days before the official start of the tour. These aren't "official" shows, but they play their whole set.

@antonsdefrancua Awesome is the only way I could describe it. I flew across the country for the Gibson show on the 21st. Anette was fantastic. A lot of people forget that much of DPP was written before she joined the band, and even on the parts that weren't, Tuomas said he wasn't sure how to write for her yet. Imaginaerum is the first NW album specifically written for her.

Nightwish is still Nightwish; if someone doesn't want to listen anymore, it's their loss.
