There have been a few Mastiff owners commenting on my videos about how Bull Mastiffs would never hurt a child and if the the breed is in the news.....it must have been mistaken for a Pit Bull.
I'm here to say.......You're ignorant and stubborn. MORONs!

  • Why is it that we can label a breed as gentle..but not dangerous? Goes both ways! Every dog is different..regardless of the breed. I also agree that it has a lot to do with how the owner treats/raises the dog..but sometimes instincts take over..they are animals..not people.

  • There is no such thing as a bad dog. It is bad owners and training.

  • i like how everyone acts like the dog is so innocent but had it been an american pitbull terrier their would have been a problem

  • i grew up with a bullmastiffs and a when I was a kid, speaking from personal experience I have a hard time believing that a bullmastiff would ever intentionally hurt a child.

  • The boy must've entered it's territory. I knew when I was 3 that dogs hate being trespassed.

  • its not the dogs falut its the owners it wouldnt of happend if they trained there dog right

  • Without a video or picture of the dog, there shouldn't be any assumptions on what kind of dog it is. Don't be ignorant, ANY dog can attack; mutt, purebred, bullmastiff, pitbull, shepherd, labrador, poodle. I currently have 2 bullmastiffs & have raised them previously. They are a loving, gentle breed, but they are stubborn and need a firm hand. Without proper training, they can indeed be dangerous, as ANY dog can be. Point is, don't blame one breed for an owner's misguided effort.
