AvatarWho (Ten/Rose/Jake)

Sorry I can't come up with a more creative title, lol. Well, anyway, I've always been stuck on this idea of trying to cross 'Doctor Who' with James Cameron's 'Avatar' and, well, ta-da! Here are the fruits of my labours xD

I probably could have done a lot more with this video but, all in all, I'm alright with how it turned out.

Plot: In their travels, The Doctor and Rose end up inside Grace's lab on Pandora. Being themselves, they poke around and end up meeting Jake, who too has just arrived as part of the Avatar project. He shows them around the lab and introduces them to the whole concept, as well as talking quite extensively with Rose, in particular, while The Doctor looks at all the science of the operation. When Jake first enters his Avatar body, both Rose and The Doctor are astounded that it not only works, but that the body is so superior to the human form. Rose volunteers to join up and manages to convince Dr. Augustine to let her into one of the bodies, on the condition that she doesn't disturb any goings on; The Doctor makes a further request that Rose's body, while "remote driving" the Avatar, be kept in the TARDIS (this will be important later), that way she will be safe from the toxic air of Pandora should something happen to her Avatar body, the lab, etc. The Doctor, being not human and all, is not affected by Pandora's air, so has no need of the Avatar program in order to see Pandora for himself.

Well, Rose runs around in her Avatar body (Neytiri) with Jake and the two of them become closer, realizing that they've got quite a bit in common and generally like each other. Eventually, it blossoms into romance. However, the men who pay for the Avatar program, a mineral-mining corporation that has a militaristic arm, start doing irreparable damage to the Pandora environment with no regard for the fact that they could destroy Pandora and that they almost murdered Jake and Rose while they were in their Avatars.

So, they go to war. The Doctor joins them in his TARDIS while Jake and Rose use their Avatars. They and every other member of the Avatar program (hence the millions of Na'vi during the battle) go up against the corporation's military. Rose gets hit and falls, Jake going right after her. The Doctor is following close behind, though still caught up in the air fight; as her body is safe in the TARDIS, some of his fear is assuaged. Jake, Rose, and Col. Quaritch do battle, only for him to destroy the windows to the lab where Jake's body is being kept. Rose manages to kill Quaritch, but not in time to save Jake, who dies from Pandora's air. She and The Doctor, saddened, leave Pandora for more adventures as Jake is given a cremation.

As for the ending...well...I'll that up to you. Did The Doctor go back five years, before Jake joined the Avatar mission? Or had Jake seen The Doctor back then, thus inspiring him to join the mission, and go through the events of this video? ;)
